You can find the idyllic town of "Zingst" integrated into the stunning landscape of the national park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" in the eastern parts of the peninsula "Fischland-Darß-Zingst".

Our apartments are very comfortable and make every visit worthwhile regardless of season or the weather. This former sailor village, which prospered under the influence of the sailing ships, developed into a popular Baltic Sea spa helped by the healing powers of the maritime climate.
Today Zingst offers a variety of sporting activities, cultural events and spa treatments as well as vast miles of sandy beaches to please beach lovers and sun seekers with plenty opportunities to relax and unwind.

Biking & Hiking

You are always surrounded by fresh healthy air right in the middle of nature, whether you have a stroll on our endless sandy beach with the wind in your face and the sound of the waves in your ear or through the meadows and woods.
The National Park stretches over 500 square miles and there are also plenty of other unique landscapes with rich flora and fauna.

In the fall season you can watch as thousands of cranes fly into the area to rest before heading south during their yearly migration. Which is an impressive spectacle for any nature lover and tours for enthusiasts are widely offered such as boat tours.

You don’t need a car to explore the surroundings and can opt for "hiking by shanks' mare", a horseback or roller skates; however, the majority of visitors prefer to scout the area by bike. It is especially good to ride on the dike to enjoy the Baltic Sea with sandy beaches, dunes and cliffs on one side and on the other idyllic fishing villages and harbours, as long as the wind is not too strong. And to "recharge" you can stop over in one of numerous Cafés, ice cream parlour or restaurants.

Swimming & Tanning

Zingst offers you beach fun for the whole family for swimmers and sun seekers. The gradually sloping pebble free, white and sandy beach with its vast areas of shallow water is particularly suitable for children and non-swimmers.

All seaside resorts of the holiday region Darss-Zingst have been represented again with "Blue Flag" in this year which shows the high environmental standards and excellent water quality of our beaches. The more than 11 miles long white beach is seemingly endless with its undeveloped shorelines and offers 600 traditional beach chairs and 2.7 miles of a guarded beach stretch.
